Investigación
Mis intereses principales son paleomagnetismo, tectónica,
estratigrafía y el estudio de propiedades magnéticas de
rocas.
Mi investigación se centra en el paleomagnetismo aplicado a
problemas de tectónica y reconstrucciones
paleogeográficas, la magnetostratigrafía, y la
evolución tectónica de México, el Caribe y la
Cordillera del
oeste de Norte América.
Las areas donde he trabajado mas recientemente son el norte de
México (Sonora, Coahuila y Baja California)
y el suroeste de los Estados Unidos (Arizona-New Mexico) y el sur de
México (Oaxaca, Guerrero y Chiapas).
